Musclechuck Quick Change Chuck Type 1 - Change router cutters with ease and speed from above the router table and on a plunge router.  Features cam-lock design that clamps and loosens with a partial turn using the included 5/32, ball-end, hex key wrench. Much quicker than the original two wrench method, change router cutters with ease and speed.

The MuscleChuck - Quick Change Chuck Type 1 is designed to work with all versions of our own AUK Router.

Fitted this to my new AUK router. Makes life so much more easier no more mucking about with two wrenches.
Wouldn’t ever change back. Great piece of engineering, pricey but well worth it for the convenience alone.

    A great improvement

Not the first Musclechuck I’ve bought - I fitted my Hitachi MV12V2 a while back, and found it excellent. This one is in my router table, that uses the (el cheapo) XAct motor and lift. Musclechuck does away with all the faffing with 2 spanners, and releases the bit much more easily than a standard collet.

Pretty expensive, but well-made and wort the money. And this one came with the longest Allen key I’ve ever seen!

A brilliant piece of kit when using a router table. No more skinned knuckles!
