Description

INCRA's Original Jig Fence System includes all the items needed to produce highly detailed box joints and dovetails when combined with the Original INCRA Jig (sold separately) as well as hardware and information for creating even more accessories.

The 20”-long fence is laminated on both sides and is machined with a front T-slot and a router bit opening measuring 1.25” wide x 1” high. Hardware is included and instructions provided for shop-made wooden sub fences that work with the fence’s T-slot to allow larger cutters and a variable-size router bit opening.

The aluminium right angle features a 6.75”-wide face plate with plenty of T-slots for adding backing boards or other fixtures for specialised work. The wooden runners are replaceable and gentle on your router bits in the event of accidental contact.

The double-laminated stop is use to limit the length of cuts such as the pin cuts on dovetails or stopped grooves for fully-trapped drawer and box bottom panels and is attached to the fence with quick-action knobs. It’s even reversible to offer a choice of stop surfaces, and it even features its own T-slot for adding other fixtures.

Great product

Great product, I have used this fence with and without the Incra box jig system, it works great and is very accurate, yes I could have built a similar fence but out of the box this has worked great and I think it's very good value.

Precision

The jig is well made and the instructions very clear, the QR code gives access to a very comprehensive hour long video showing the setup and use. I heve not used it yet so have to reserve judgement however I have made the user made fence, right angle fixture and base for the jig from 19mm melamine faced mdf. These are easily done and showed up a design flaw in my own diy router fence. The jig allows moving the fence in 1mm increments although all instructions are imperial even with my metric jig. I queried this and had a prompt response from Woodworkersworkshop, helpful as always.

Mighty fine (adjustment)

Not really used it in anger yet, but having set it up as per the instructions and had a little play, I can see it living up to all the claims made as to accuracy and fine adjustment. I just need to find time to make the auxiliary fence etc and then game on!

A great addition to my router table

This is very high quality. I will need time to practise and learn how to make the most of the jig. I am looking forward to that. I just wish that Incra would realise that DVDs are well out of date and I don't even own a DVD player any more. They could move the DVD content to a USB memory stick.

Only started to use this , but its easy to set up and use.very acvurate cant wait to start dovetailing. Can see it being used on other machines in the work shop. Well made piece of kit.

Does what it says

Although I have not used this in earnest still learning how to on scrap wood it appears to work well instructions are very good including how to make fence, included DVD is very clear. only trouble is it includes a section on incra rulers which has prompted me to buy some of these which are brilliant if expensive, although in my case well worth it due to my eyesight not being what it used to be. Back to the original revue I found assembly and set up dead easy, made my own fence as per instructions . The reason for 4 stars rather than five is the price a little high I think, but if it works as well as it appears to consistently, worth it. Wood Workers Workers are great delivery was brilliant next day in period between Christmas and new year.
