AUKTools Mini Turning Tool Set

by AUKTools

If you love woodturning but hate sharpening our mini turning tool set with carbide inserts is perfect for you. These tools eliminate the need for sharpening by using rotatable and replaceable carbide inserts mounted to steel shafts. When the edge of the cutter finally gets dull, simply rotate to a new edge and replace with a new insert when all edges are dull. Carbide cutters stay sharper for longer when compared to steel. The ergonomic handles are turned from solid Ash with a moulded rubber grip for a comfort and reducing fatigue.

Excellent Tools

Nicely made set of tools. Excellent for my work on a small lathe. Cut very well and very good for fine detail work.

Good very good ottimo prodotto

One good turn deserves...

Excellent little tools at an extraordinarly good price (especially when on offer). Initial use has revealed them to be a delight to work with. The square ended tip needs a little fettling to sit square, but all three cut well and handle well. I understand the Wood Workers' Workshop to be investigating a source of reasonably priced replacement tips, but it will be while before I need them. Next step would be to source some full size replaceable tip wood turning tools at reasonable prices, (rather than at Crown prices).
