Accurate cope cuts and crosscuts

The AUKTools Router Fence Mitre Gauge provides a controlled way to guide workpieces across the router cutter when making square or angled cope cuts, crosscuts, end-grain routing and joint cutting. Mounted directly to the top T-track of the router fence, the sliding carriage remains aligned and parallel as the fence position is adjusted, helping maintain accuracy without repeatedly realigning a conventional table-mounted mitre gauge.

The carriage is precision machined from hardened aluminium extrusion with stainless steel hardware, providing the strength and rigidity required for accurate routing while remaining easy to position and remove.

Smooth, controlled travel

The carriage runs along a linear bearing guide rail for smooth, precise movement with minimal play. The guide is shielded against dust ingress and provides 575mm of travel, allowing controlled passes across wider workpieces.

Two adjustable limit stops can be positioned along the rail to control the length of travel. This is particularly useful for repetitive work, allowing the same routing operation to be repeated consistently across multiple components.

Quick, accurate angle adjustment

The mitre gauge adjusts through a 45° range with clear 1° graduations for accurate setup. Positive stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45° allow commonly used angles to be selected quickly and consistently.

Once the required angle is set, the mitre gauge locks securely in position using the large knurled handle.

Adjustable workpiece support

A 305mm long × 63mm high extruded aluminium sub-fence provides additional support when guiding workpieces across the router cutter. Integrated 6.35mm T-tracks allow compatible hold-downs and stops to be fitted for greater control and repeatability.

The sub-fence can also be repositioned closer to or further from the main router fence, providing additional clearance when working with larger diameter cutters.

The complete sliding carriage can be removed when not required, restoring unrestricted access to the router table.

Router fence compatibility

Fits our AUKTools Compact Router Fence and AUKTools Professional Router Fence. The mitre gauge is compatible with tracks that accept a 10.8mm × 4mm square nut.
