Great ruler worth every penny

I have so many different types of rule and rule stop but none which can stand on edge like this one. I have to check flooring panels for flatness and this tool makes it so much easier, especially when I have to photograph any cupping or warping. It's VERY expensive for what it is, but who wouldn't pay for a first-class tool that does the job?

As a rule good, setting the tooling height on a spindle moulder ok, not so much on a router. My real bugbear is using as a square, in that the (small) straight edge obstructs the transfer of the face side to face edge and vice-versa so only a three. Sorry Woodpecker

A really nicely engineered piece of kit to reach for on small set-ups in the shop.

I did question if it was worth paying fifty quid for a six inch rule, or I should say 150mm. However, now I have it I’m happy I did. My choice was the red aluminium version with the white measuring scales which I find very easy to read and mark from. The notch in the end which the lead of a pencil fits into makes for very accurate marking. The twin screwed rule stop is dead square to the rule and I’ve found it to be just as good as any small square I’ve got, effectively making it two tools in one. The ability to use it as a rule stand is very useful for blade depth height adjustments. It comes at a price, but what extremely well engineered tool doesn’t. It’s my first bit of Woodpeckers kit and it definitely won’t be my last. Wood Workers Workshop were extremely helpful when I emailed in a question before my purchase and will be my go to supplier for future Woodpeckers tools.

A rule that I can keep on my person whilst making household fitted furniture & general repairs, avoiding the frustration of not having a measure close to hand when needed.

This is the most important tool in my toolbox without a doubt

usual woodpecker quality, very pocketable and the SS version slimmer blade than the aluminium one so easier to read. Great for setting blade height on table saw.

I have several woodpecker squares and rules but the Paolini is superb. It is so easy to use and so accurate.
This item as all Woodpecker products is expensive but once you have tried it your hooked.

Lovely little pocket rule, with exceptional Woodpeckers quality. So many uses for such a small thing.
