AUKTools Router Insert Plate Template and Steel Insert Pad

If you are making your own table and you want an easy way to make a perfect cut-out for a router plate or lift, including AUKTools, Woodpeckers, INCRA or JessEm, the AUKTools Router Insert Plate Template and Steel Insert Pad is the perfect combination. With this template and insert, you can rout out a perfectly sized 9-1/4" (235mm) x 11-3/4" (298mm) opening using a template router bit with a bearing on the shank (not supplied) and then lay the insert into the opening for an accurate flat surface for your router plate to reference.

Machined from 18mm MDF (400mm x 560mm) for a perfectly smooth bearing surface and large enough for clamps.

The AUKTools Stainless Steel Insert Pad is a 1.8mm thick insert that is suitable for use with 9-1/4" (235mm) X 11-3/4" (298mm) router plates or lifts, including AUKTools, INCRA, JessEm and Woodpeckers.

Quality router plates and lifts incorporate levelling screws to set the plate flush within router table tops but if the levelling screws are in contact with the MDF core these can eat into the MDF or wearing in overtime as the router vibrates. The AUKTools stainless steel insert plate overcomes these issues providing and flat and durable base to your router plate.
