This innovative one-piece design uses the most advanced manufacturing methods available to carve a solid 1/4"-thick slab of hardened aluminium into a one-piece, gold-anodised spine that serves as both the central part of the handle and the blade for exceptional accuracy and consistency.
INCRA's new line of Precision Squares and 45°s are the most accurate you will find anywhere. Each INCRA square is guaranteed +/-0.001" from nominal along either side of the blade!
The spine also projects beyond the handle's cheek plates on the inside of the square, producing a support lip that makes it easier for the user to keep the handle flat on the edge of a board. There's even a recess machined into the spine's inside corner to keep the fuzzy corner of a board from affecting your measurement.

Unlike conventional two–piece designs, the layout angle of our rigid, one–piece body won’t get “bent out of shape” when you drop it. Our trademark gold and red hardened anodized surface is not only durable, but beautiful, and it won’t tarnish like brass or rust like steel. Combine this with the modern, functional styling and you've got a tool that is worthy of the most prominent location in your display cabinet (when you're not using it, of course).

We are a family business, run by woodworkers for woodworkers, delivering 5-star customer service since 1999.
Stocking a wide range of woodworking tools from leading brands: AUKTools, Milescraft, INCRA, iGaging, JessEm, Woodpeckers, FastCap, Verum & more.
While this square looks nice and is great to use, it does not look like or do what is shown in the pictures on the box.
My square has a tapped hole in the blade of the square and does not sit on the edge of a board as shown.
Hopefully this can be sorted out.
Thanks for your review John and well spotted! It has never been mentioned before. As I understand it the hole in the squares blade is part of the manufacturing process and the image on the box must be an old one. We are more than happy to give you a full refund if you are not happy with the square and can only apologise for any misunderstanding from the picture or Incra's description.
Classic case of - ‘you get what you pay for’ - feels good in the hand, doesn’t mark painted surfaces, actually square and easy on the eye. Cheers.
I had high hopes for this and was not let down, from the look the feel and such great quality very temtped with the 7” square now

If you want quality you have to pay for it .the incra square qualifies on both counts very expensive but very accurate ,if you need accuracy then this is the square to do the job.As usual excellent service from woodworkers workshop.
I actually thought I would regret spending £70 on a small incra square. How wrong I was. Should have bought this little square years ago . And as for woodworkers workshop. I must say the owner of this shop was a pleasure to deal with . Definitely checking out there website more often in future.
Not much you can say other than it’s accurate. It doesn’t jump through hoops nor will it bring me a beer.
It is a well made accurate square though
I was almost put off by the price but I know now that it the only square I go for in the workshop. Love the extra thickness which is more useful to work with than I could have imagined. Love it!
