iGaging - Digital Caliper - EZ-Cal 6in

Regular price £32.95

iGaging - Digital Caliper - EZ-Cal 6in - super high quality and easy to read with the largest LCD display available. Ideal for measuring thicknesses, groove widths and used as an accurate depth gauge.  Vernier calipers are probably our most used measuring tool in the workshop and they just seem to be the first measuring device we reach for.

Not all verniers are created equal. In fact the iGaging EZCal digital vernier calipers are without equal in quality at this price level.

To get the most from your woodworking machines, you are now able to measure down to 50th mm, thousandths of an inch. There are plenty of more expensive instruments available for doing exactly that, but what partly complicates matters is that human eyesight generally doesn't improve with age.

These are the easiest to read calipers that we've seen. Not only are the numbers giant at 14mm tall, but the digits are also widely spaced. The 1/10,000" digit at the right side of the display is half-height, so it's legible without being distracting when reading decimal inches.

These calipers have a 150mm (6") capacity and the display reads to 0.01mm, 0.0005"or 1/128" at the press of a button. There's also a handy decimal/fraction conversion chart on the back. Precision ground stainless steel jaws allow precise, repeatable outside, inside, depth, and step measurements. With a quick measuring speed of 120” per second. All iGaging EZCal verniers are IP54-splash water, oil and dust resistant and individually serialized.

They are produced from hardened stainless with a precision lapped smooth finish, Fitted case and two CR2032 batteries included.

I use this to measure bullet seat depth for rifle reloading purposes. Having researched other models I chose the EZ cal for its build quality and accuracy as it surpassed all other models with a higher price tag! Without doubt a fantastic piece of equipment and has helped achieve a 1/4 inch group at 100m.

    Essential kit

One of the most used and useful pieces of kit. A constant go to reference for working that's easy to read, accurate and reads in metric as a well as imperial.

    Great allrounder!

The quality and reproducability of results for this digital caliper is great for the money! Most importantly it is one of the few I have come across that also measures in fractions of an inch which is very handy if you're working with a lot of imperial fastenings and saves having to cross-reference/convert all the time.

Most used bits of kit I use. Very easy to read and keeps it zero well. It is well built and worth looking after in its case after use. Comes with a spare battery and intuitive to use.

Definatly very accurate but the micro adjust and solid feel of this calipers is exceptionally high , I did a lot of research into digital calipers for woodworking and picked this one out and I'm so thankful to the research I did because it works like I wanted .
