Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a refund. Please see below for more information on our return policy. 

1 - Unwanted Items – 45 Day Hassle-Free Returns

You have 45 days from receipt of your order to return any unwanted item for a refund – giving you extra time and peace of mind. Returned items must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging, with no writing or labels applied. Please do not return items without notifying us first. 

To arrange a return, email sales@woodworkersworkshop.co.uk with your order number to request a returns form. After receiving the form, securely package the item (ideally in its original outer packaging), include the completed returns form, and send it to:

For UK orders, customers cover the cost of returning unwanted goods. For international orders, customers arrange their own return shipping and cover any customs duties or local taxes. We recommend using a tracked postal or courier service and keeping your proof of postage. 

We do not offer exchanges, if you wish to order a replacement, please place a new order through our website. 

2 - Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact sales@woodworkersworkshop.co.uk or call +44(0)1684 594683 within 30 days of delivery. We’ll assess the issue quickly and arrange collection or provide a prepaid return label where appropriate.

If packaging is visibly damaged on delivery, please sign for it as damaged and contact us as soon as possible. 

UK orders – If your item is faulty or supplied in error, we’ll refund the full amount paid, including delivery charges, and cover the cost of return shipping.

International orders – Please contact us before returning any item delivered outside the UK. We’ll review the issue under our Product Warranty Policy and confirm the next steps. Return shipping, taxes or duties remain the customer’s responsibility unless the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing defect under warranty.

3 - Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll process your refund within 7 working days back to your original payment method. You’ll receive an email once your refund has been completed. Processing times can vary with your bank or card provider. If you haven’t received your refund after a further 7 working days, please contact sales@woodworkersworkshop.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help. 

Refunds include the cost of the goods and, where applicable: 

  • Unwanted items (UK orders) – For unwanted items returned under your statutory right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the goods within a further 14 days. We’ll refund the item price and our standard UK delivery charge only — faster or premium delivery charges are non-refundable. For unwanted items returned under our 45-Day Hassle-Free Returns Policy, we’ll refund the item price only; delivery charges are non-refundable.

  • Unwanted items (international orders) – Customers outside the UK arrange their own return shipping and cover any customs duties or local taxes. We’ll refund the item price once the goods are received back in saleable condition

4 - Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged: 

  • Downloadable products 
  • DVDs (unsealed) 
  • Gift cards 
5 - Undeliverable or Refused Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because: 

  • the address provided was incorrect,
  • delivery was refused,
  • the carrier was unable to deliver after multiple attempts, or 
  • the parcel was held at a Royal Mail Sorting Office or a courier depot and not collected within their retention period, 

we’ll issue a refund for the cost of goods only. Delivery charges will not be refunded. 

We’re unable to automatically resend undeliverable or refused parcels. If you’d still like the goods, please place a new order through our website. 

6 - Extended Returns – Holiday Period

During November and December, our returns window is extended to give you peace of mind when buying. For goods purchased during November and December, you may notify us of a return up to 15 January. Returned items must be unused, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging.
