With a blade thickness of only 0.3mm and tooth pitch of approximatley 1.0mm, it cuts smoothly and with great ease. The ultra-thin blade removes very little material and leaves a clean surface for perfect dovetails and small tenons. The ultimate saw for small bench joinery on softwoods and temperate hardwoods, cutting exotic or very hardwoods may overwork the teeth.
The SK-5 steel goes through the traditional heat treatment process of oil quenching, meaning the blades can be resharpened with a Saw File over time.
