This was a present for husband who hasn’t used it yet. Not the same one as he had seen, but hopefully be able to use soon. A couple of mini clamps to attach this to the wood would have been a bonus.(as in clip for product)
High quality tool needed for every workshop. Functional and precise jig. Fast delivery, the shipment was delivered to Lithuania within 3 days. Thank you.
Firstly, the service from WoodWorkers Workshop was exceptional. Other suppliers tend to blame the current Covid pandemic on their inability to get the goods to the customer quickly. Well the jig, along with the 6mm and 10mm replacement heads arrived less than 24hrs after ordering, a great performance from the supplier and courier (DPD) combined. Have now used the jig with the 10mm head to put together a router table base, and the 6mm head making cabinet drawers, and not been disappointed at all. In fact my expectations have been exceeded. The next time in use will most probably be to make a suitable box that the items deserve. A wonderful, accurate product to use. Expensive, but well worth it. Highly recommended.
I wish I had discovered this jig years ago; it is a first class piece of kit, built like a tank, and it's very accurate too.
I have yet to try out the 10mm and 6mm heads.
Highly recommended.
I bought this to make some cabinet face frames which, for one reason or another, I could not do with my morticer. It did a fine job, with all the rails and stiles finishing perfectly flush. I used the supplied drill as depth stop, which work fine. I'm not sure what the problem is with the other reviewers who find differently. The stop collar fits on the drill fine, if the grub screw is tightened on the drill's lands and not into the flutes. A lip and spur drill could be used instead, but there is little need as the drill bit is guided, which makes a centre point somewhat redundant. The HSS drill provided works fine and is more tolerant of the heat generated. If substituting a different drill, make sure it is also HSS as a carbon steel lip and spur drill will dull in a matter of minutes!
